The overall objective of the TOGETHER project is to promote traditional European sports and games (TGS) as a bridge to actively foster peaceful intercultural inclusion.

In terms of specific objectives, the TOGETHER project takes up the challenges of:

 

• Objective 1. To develop a model of good practice for inclusive intercultural dialogue of people with disabilities through traditional European sports and games (TGS)

To achieve this objective, two lines of work will be established:

1.1 The development of the implementation of an inclusive intercultural dialogue experience, based on the JST, in institutions for people with intellectual disabilities (PHM) in Spain, France and Italy.

1.2 For the integration of the traditional games played in the project centres, an international festival of traditional games will be held in La Almunia de Doña Godina (Spain), with the aim of establishing a bridge for inclusive relational dialogue between PHMs.

 

• Objective 2. To scientifically demonstrate the contribution (social impact) of  JSTs to the promotion of inclusive intercultural dialogue led by the Centres for People with Intellectual Disabilities (PHM).
