RETRO-PROGRESSION
The protagonists participate in a project that promotes the values of inclusive democratic coexistence that have accompanied these games throughout history.
CONTEXTUALIZATION
People with intellectual disabilities learn to live together, to collaborate and interact with others, to share positive experiences of traditional European games. At the same time, this experience is also positive for people without special needs which confirms the extraordinarily inclusive role of traditional games in today's society.
THEORY AND PRACTICE, AN INDIVISIBLE BINOMIAL
The project combines theory and practice: the experience of playing traditional games and the scientific approach to identify evidence of the inclusive impact of this experience on social-emotional well-being.
CROSS-DISCIPLINARY EDUCATION
This project allows to build a bridge in the interaction between the different actors: Participants (students, teachers, educators, researchers). Families and Organizations involved in the socialization of intercultural dialogue.
EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY
An important part of the protagonists (with and without disabilities) will share the roles of player, referee and "monitor" by explaining the rules of the game to other participants. These shared experiences foster the development of the participants' personal effectiveness, promoting empowerment and resilience as inclusive resources to optimize inclusive intercultural dialogue.
INTERGENERATIONAL AND INTERPERSONAL SOLIDARITY
Participants, coaches, teachers, researchers, adults and players with and without intellectual disabilities will share an intercultural relationship based on mutual support and inclusive peaceful coexistence
OPTIMIZING INCLUSIVE INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE
It is a project that promotes inclusive intercultural dialogue by stimulating the meeting and communication between people of different origins and cultural characteristics, improving cultural diversity and developing an active attitude in the search for common spaces to encourage the transformation of visions.
